I can provide all the science behind why AstonRX is the answer, but a major part of my job is restoring people’s confidence.
The confidence I see in people when they’ve made the necessary changes to improve their health comes from feeling proud of themselves. They’ve made a positive change. They’ve done it. Their digestion has improved, the aches and pains have subsided, they have more energy.
On a deeper level, they have control back and that’s the true source of the confidence. It’s a process of building a healthy relationship of trust with your body because you know and value how it will respond if you give it the right fuel and care.
It’s making friends with your body.
I understand when your body is in pain. You can feel cheated and let down, so you start blaming your body for letting you down. But, in truth, you’re the only one letting it down because you’re not giving it what it needs to perform. Once you realise you must be more in tune and caring with your body, it will respond, and you start to love it again.
The way you hold yourself, the self-pride, and the way you communicate with people all starts to correspond to that harmonious relationship you have with your body. That’s confidence.
We all need that reality check sometimes. Even me. When I was at the height of pain from my back injury a few years ago, I lost all confidence in my physical ability which was a new experience for me. I’d always prided myself on my physical strength and capacity, but this injury was an enormous test. I felt so shaken by it that I was careful to the point of being timid. I didn’t want to suffer so I let my muscles and tissues deplete in a way that was detrimental to my general health and the injury.
I was wrapping myself in cotton wool but what I really needed was to build myself back up again, to strengthen my body, not allow it to weaken even further. I had to snap out of that mindset of being overprotective of what I thought was a broken body.
It was only broken because I stopped working with it and had lost the trust. Once I reignited the trust, I reformed my confidence. Now I not only love my strong, functioning back, but I really love feeling confident again.
