My Cholesterol (comprehensive) Screening

This includes:

• Total Cholesterol
• Triglycerides
• HDL cholesterol (protective) 
• LDL cholesterol (atherogenic) 
• Lipoprotein (a) - High Lp(a) levels are especially dangerous if you have a family history of heart disease.
• Apolipoprotein B (Apo B) - high levels are linked to an increased risk of CVD.
• Apolipoprotein A (Apo A1) - the main protein in HDL (protective)
• apoB/apoA-I ratio - The ratio is a strong predictor of risk for atherosclerotic CVD.

This provides further information to determine your risk of cardiovascular disease, both from a genetic perspective and the LDL particle size.
